BigAaron[left]ok...we know dead sun isnt coming back so...and maybe not time travel lol..what i ment was kain being able to shift from spirit to real world..
if there going to make anther LOK game shouldnt it atleast look better then dead sun,i mean how they going to make this work in your opinion?

Dead Sun was being developed for PS4 launch. Any future game will look at least as good, graphically speaking. And time travel will HAVE to come back at some point. As of Defiance's end, Kain is in the Blood Omen era. To kill the Elder God, he must be in the Soul Reaver era (or later) so that the event won't just totally wreck the timestream. The EG has been massively influential throughout history. Killing him too far in the past could be cataclysmic.

I don't even know what you're asking about with "how they going to make this work in your opinion?" but I'll assume you mean Kain (or, rather, his hypothetical EG-cult children) shifting realms.
In which case, the answer is simple: They inherit the gift from Kain.

Consider that Kain goes all throughout Blood Omen outright seeing spirits and sucking their soul energy (Note: He sucks blue blood from them but accounting for consistency of narrative, it may as well be soul energy). Some aspect of Mortanius' necromantic method of raising Kain must have given him some portion of vampire-wraith-like abilities. And he passes these in some small part to his original clan: Melchiah can move between the realms outright and Zephon can shift partially (he is visible in the spectral realm though he doesn't seem to perceive the realm very clearly - Unlike Melchiah, he won't attack spectral Raziel.)

Though even disregarding that interpretation: In Defiance, Raziel reveals his shifting power to be largely a force of will. He wills his spirit free of the flesh to become spectral and then when the EG takes away his portals back to the material plane, he begins willing his spirit into corpses (which he then wills to take the form of his own flesh) to become material. The Elder God could conceivably teach his cult members this ability with time and persistence.
