This is very likely seeing as he's lied about pretty much everything else as well; "...origin of Life", etc.

Actually, I have a theory about the Elder God being an origin of death if you'd like to hear. :p

Great discussion there, folks! =) Xanatos, thanks for the contribution. I think it was very worthy! If it's not too much to ask, would you take a guess about a possible spillover for the next LOK game? (could be just a briefing). Tks again.

[left]Spillover? You mean what I think the next game will entail?
Honestly, I have little faith in the series being officially continued but if it were, I think they'd be wasting a lot of world-building to not create a proper single-player counterpart to Nosgoth. They've developed enough intriguing new lore and factions for that game to justify it.

As far as continuing where Defiance left off, I did have a few ideas long ago while perusing the ill-received Dead Sun gameplay footage. One revolved around the idea of Kain having been defeated in that future rather than it being a post-restoration. Though for that, the environment would have needed revising into a more desolate place. But anyway...Vampires able to shift realms, sucking souls...Why would they, presumably some far-down descendants of Kain's blood, be soul reavers when the Elder God is Kain's enemy? Didn't make sense to me so I did some retooling. Figure Kain must've been cast off someplace (perhaps the demon dimension again, where he might rescue Janos in a post-BO2 era - or maybe the Eternal Prison would make a return to the series) and, in the time since, the EG has cultivated Kain's second brood (and many following, ultimately evolving into the Saradin) into a brand new cult akin to the Ancients. Story-wise, it'd entail the protagonist (whoever that might be, probably one of Kain's newer Saradin children defecting from the EG worship) on some journey, eventually rescuing Kain (and Janos?) from wherever then working with them to arrange the Elder God's downfall again. Much like Soul Reaver did with Blood Omen, it'd separate largely from old continuity by being set in a far future but still stay closely tied to it as well.

The other...Well, one's enough for now. The other one is long and I'm tired.
